Aero contractors, a leading domestic carrier in Nigeria has sacked its MD, Hugh Fraser and CFO, Tunde Pampam lfollowing clash of interest between owners Ibru and the government owned Asset Management company (AMCON).
Hugh was accused of taking some decisions against the wishes of AMCON that is overseeing the running of the airline at the moment over alleged debt of N20-30 billion owed by Aero. On the other he was also frustrated by the inaction of AMCON and the confusion associated with board.
Hugh who was appointed by AMCON nearly two years ago, sources said went on leave without the board approval, while there are allegations of questionable decisions and allegiance.
Tunde Pampam, an AMCON appointed personnel was very strict in maintaining financial discipline in the airline’s finances.
