NAMA begins test run of ADS-C /CPDLC...issues aeronautic information circular to airlines

N AMA COMMENCES TEST-RUN OF ADS-C/ CPDLC IN NIGERIAN AIRSPACE The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), has begun the test-run of its high profile project-the deployment of Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Contract/ Controller Pilot Data Link Communication   (ADS-C/ CPDLC) in the nation’s airspace.   The test-run which commenced last week at the Lagos Area Control Centre (ACC) was witnessed live by the Managing Director of NAMA, Engr. Ibrahim Abdulsalam, accompanied by the Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt Usman Muhtar and the Managing  Director  of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engr. Airline is largest 777 fleet operator in Asia Photos (1) EVERETT  and Cathay Pacific Airways celebrated a significant achievement today with the delivery of the airline’s 70 th  777 aircraft – also the last and 53rd 777-300ER (Extended Range) of its confirmed orders – that has made Cathay Asia’s largest operator of the 777 fleet. With today’s delivery, Cathay Pacific’s 777 aircraft fleet comprises of 53 777-300ERs, 12 777-300s and five 777-200s. Boeing Receives Order from India for 22 Apache and 15 Chinook Helicopters

NASA, Boeing Extend International Space Station Contract Agreement sets the stage for continued cutting edge research and deep space technology development NASA has awarded a key contract to Boeing  the International Space Station’s prime contractor, to continue providing key engineering support services, resources and personnel to the program through  Sept. 30, 2020 . The contract, valued at $1.18 billion, extends for five-years.   NASA and its 16 international partners are analyzing the ability to sustain station operations through 2020.
