FAAN Targets Revenue Boost Through Cashless Operation-





The Federal Airports Authority of Nigerian (FAAN) on Monday flagged off its “Go Cashless Operation” at airports  across the country  aiming to triple revenue  like never before.


The Managing Director,Mrs Olubunmi Kuku announced that the new payment solution would start from two international airports in Lagos and Abuja effective today. 


FAAN is rolling out this cashless contactless payment solution in partnership with Paystack that comes with assurance of safe and seamless services.


The MD represented at the ceremony in Lagos by the Director of Public Affairs and  Consumer Protection,Henry Gberigbe,explained that the from now on,FAAN’ revenue points  including the airport access gates,car parks,FAAN VIP and protocol lounges would go cashless.


The MD stressed that with the introduction of this payment solution,passengers and airport users  would enjoy fast and seamless services by using this secure contactless payment option.


She told the media that “ this initiative responds to the growing demand for safe, modern and transparent payment systems  while assuring Nigeria’s airport remain aligned with global digital trends “.

  She believes that by reducing reliance on cash , FAAN aims to enhance efficiency, improve revenue assurance and delivery a better customer experience at the airports across the country.

A practical demonstration on video of how payment card works was presented by officials of Paystack at the conference room of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport,Ikeja,Lagos  the venue of the press conference.

Air Traffic Controllers Suspend Warning Strike...In Crucial Meeting With NAMA Management

Normalcy has returned to the nation's airspace as  Air Traffic Controllers stepped down it warning strike which informed spacing of traffic flow by 20 minutes at four major airports in Lagos,Abuja, Portharcourt and Kano. The  suspension,according to a statement signed by the Managing Director of the Agency , Capt.
