Seven people have died after a small plane crashed in the Dominican Republic.
The single-engine plane came down on a golf course, killing all six passengers and the pilot.
The Piper PA-32 had just taken off from Punta Cana airport on an internal flight.
The pilot had been attempting an emergency landing on the course at Cocotal.
The plane burst into flames upon impact, according to Hector Olivo from the Civil Aviation Institute.
There had been reports that two Britons were among with dead, with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office telling Sky News they were "liaising with local authorities to urgently gather more information".
However, a spokesman has now confirmed there was no one from the UK on board.
The bodies, which have yet to be formally identified, remain at the scene.
Civil aviation officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
