SAHCOL NOW HANDLES ETHIOPIAN AIRLINE CARGO OPERATIONS

     


Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) announced on Monday in Lagos that  Ethiopian Airlines has moved its Cargo Operations to SAHCOL.
The relocation will see that all import shipments on Ethiopian Airline flights to and from Lagos, Abuja and Kano are to be warehoused in the SAHCOL warehouses before clearance, while all export cargo on the Ethiopian Airline flights from all its destinations in Nigeria, are now to originate from the SAHCOL warehouses in the various locations.
SAHCOL, which is an ISAGO (IATA) and RA3 (European Union) certified Ground Handling Company has recently made massive investments in state-of-the-art aviation ground handling equipment, construction of an ultra-modern cargo import and export warehouses, manpower trainings and excellent customer services.
Hence, SAHCOL continue on the part of growth in confidence with existing and prospective clients
Therefore, with this new endorsement of the SAHCOL brand again, by one of the African's best airline, just after the recent relocation by Airfrance-KLM, SAHCOL is further determined to continually deliver excellent and speedy Aviation Ground Handling services to the delight and satisfaction of its customers, and the Aviation industry in general.

U.S. Aerospace Industry generates 1.2 million jobs...nets $118.5 billion export sales

  In 2012, the U.S. aerospace industry contributed $118.5 billion in export sales to the U.S. economy.  The industry’s positive trade balance of $70.5 billion is the largest trade surplus of any manufacturing industry and came from exporting 64.3 percent of all aerospace production. ARAP STEERING COMMITTEE SUBMITS REPORT ...AS CHIDOKA LAUDS NAMA FOR CREATION OF PMO _THE steering committee of the Aviation Revenue Automation Project (ARAP), inaugurated for the purpose of driving the full automation of all activities in the aviation agencies on Monday submitted its report to the Honourable Minister, Chief Osita Chidoka in Lagos. Among the recommendations of the committee was the need to drive commitment and enforcement to ensure strict compliance by all stakeholders while chief executives of all agencies should be held responsible to ensure that all revenue lines are captured under ARAP platform; also that all agencies should be encouraged to establish the Project Management Office (PMO) as is the case with NAMA.
